Ryan Clemens
Ryan began his career in the Medicare industry in 2003 as an agent with Humana. What started as a job quickly turned into a passion for helping people feel confident about their healthcare choices. After his first year, he was promoted to Sales Manager in Richmond, Virginia, where he helped build a new territory from the ground up. A few years later, he became Director of Sales, leading teams across Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Delaware.
Over the next 11 years, Ryan helped launch several successful start-up projects for Dimmitt Insurance, State Farm, BayCare, and WellCare. Through these experiences, he learned what matters most in this business—treating clients like family and always putting their needs first.
In 2024, Ryan took everything he’d learned and opened Freedom Insurance Agency. Now, he’s proud to represent all major carriers, giving clients the freedom to choose the plan that truly fits their needs. His goal is simple: make Medicare easier, more personal, and stress-free for everyone he helps.
Outside of work, Ryan has been married to his wife, Heidi, for over 20 years. They have two amazing kids—their daughter proudly serves in the U.S. Coast Guard, and their son is studying nursing in Tallahassee, Florida. At home, their cat Tigger keeps things fun and never lets life get too serious.
At the end of the day, Ryan truly loves what he does. Helping people find the right plan and seeing the relief on their faces when everything finally makes sense is what drives him every single day.
